Getting to know one another and sharing our ideas, resources and gifts has already provided a chance to bridge ministries such as one Confirmation Preparation Program and having St. George youth connect with the Youth Council from St. John the Divine.

MARY CATHERINE BISHOP

DEACON DON ST. ONGE

Fr. John Jasica, pastor of St. George Parish, interviews Deacon Don St. Onge, Permanent Deacon at St. John the Divine Parish.  Take some time and get to know Deacon Don and find out what he thinks about the transition to the “family of parishes”.

Both staffs meet weekly and just recently completed a book study of “Five Dysfunctions of a Team” by Patrick Lencioni.  It has helped them reflect on their own skill sets and how we can work together building trust, commitment, accountability striving for success.

NIVES DAVIES
